Avicenna offers mechanical grinding and lathe solutions when Laser Energy may not be optimal for the chosen material or desired result. Avicenna is highly skilled at applying traditional metal-machining techniques to plastic materials and polymer tubing.

We also specialize in applying heat and pressure to plastic tubing to change its shape. Our thermo-mechanical shaping processes can either reduce or expand plastic tubing to create the forms and flared features you require in the finished component.

These mechanical machining processes combine to enhance the form, fit, and function of starting material, and allow you to achieve your customized design from a standard or ordinary starting piece.
